Whitehaven Town Council prepares for Cumbria in Bloom

Whitehaven Town Council Staff and Councillors have been working alongside Copeland Borough Council’s Parks and Open Spaces team to help with the final preparations for the Town’s entry into the Cumbria In Bloom Competition. Students from St. Benedict’s School came to help with some weeding and Mr Nicholson kindly gave up his time to help with the planting.

The suppliers of all the flowers are the Bennett Brother from Distington who came along to give their seal of approval of the flower displays in St. Nicholas Gardens
